I can’t get enough of this pan. It barely gets put away, and if you scroll my Instagram, you will see it proudly full of delicious things, from braises to lasagnes, stews to rice bakes. It’s ridiculously capable. It can fit a butterflied chicken or whole lamb shoulder. It goes from fridge, to stove top to oven to table without being needy. The low-ness means it roasts well, while the depth means it gravys beautifully. It can go in the dishwasher too. It’s as essential as salt, oil or martini olives in my house. These types of pans are little costly, however… it’s unlikely you’ll ever need to buy another.
CAUDALIE Smooth & Glow Oil Elixir w/ Prickly Pear
Always drawn to beauty therapies based on plants over chems. My mum would show up to school pick up with the remnants of a drying yolk & beer hair mask setting in spots she’d missed, so I guess it makes sense. Something that gets me more than that though (guiltily) is an all in one. Considering my “routine” it’s important to have a few shortcuts. This golden syrup can be applied in a head to toe smear, or patiently dripped and massaged into desperate winter skin - all depending on you. Non-greasy and smells naturally of fig. Along with the grape seed, soft almond and sesame oils, I’m a wedge of manchego away from becoming a cheeseboard. A very soft one.
Linen Napkins. I grew up wiping my grubby mits on cloth napkins. They weren’t expensive, and for parents who chose cloth nappies, they weren’t much more of a chore. I have them for my kids, too. But when it gets a bit fancier, I pull out the linen. However, it is an investment, and there are so many gorgeous shades. So, I teamed up with Cultiver to create a 6 pack of 3 colours (instead of their usual 4x one colour). A starter pack to get you going. It’s a great couple's gift or home warming pressie. And the colours all work together so that you can set them at a table all mixed up. There are two packs: Gumtree (pictured) and Seashell.
