Instructions
- Cook the short pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to the package instructions until it's almost al dente.
- Reserve 1/4 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta one minute before it reaches al dente. In that same pot, melt the butter and add a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat.
- Sauté the finely chopped garlic for about five minutes until it's just golden and fragrant.
- Add the chopped prawns to the pot and cook them, stirring occasionally, until they start to change color. This should take just a minutes.
- Add the Gochujang Korean chili paste into the pot with the prawns and garlic.
- Sauté everything together briefly for about a minute then add the pouring cream into the pot, Fold int the partially cooked pasta.
- And stir through the pasta water to emulsiphy the sauce.
- Add lemon zest and parmy to taste.
