Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Soak the panko and milk together in a bowl and set aside for 10mins to soften
  2. In a bowl, combine the beef mince, chopped brown onion, crushed garlic, chopped parsley, chopped and oregano.
  3. After soaking, add the egg and milk/pavko mixture to the mixture and combine everything thoroughly.
  4. Divide the mixture into 4 and form into patties.
  5. Insert about 25gm of cheese into each one and form the patty around the cheese, ensuring the cheese is well encased.
  6. Heat a pan over medium-high heat and add a little cooking oil. Cook the patties until they're golden crispy on both sides, which should take about 5 minutes on each side. Let them rest momentarily.
  7. To build your burger, grill the burger buns. Then, top the bottom bun with your favorite burger fillings, like beetroot, tomato, lettuce, barbecue sauce, tomato sauce, and mayonnaise.
  8. Place the cooked patty on top of the fillings, and finally, add the top bun.
  9. Squish it flat and smash it
