  1. Heat a large pan over medium-high heat and add the olive oil. Pan-fry the broccoli for about 5 minutes until it begins to char on the edges. Remove the broccoli from the pan and set aside on a plate.
  2. In the same pan, pan-fry the steaks for approximately 4 minutes on each side for a medium-rare doneness. Once cooked, remove the steaks from the pan and let them rest for 4 minutes.
  3. Add the butter and chopped mushrooms to the same pan and fry for 2 minutes until golden. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  4. Deglaze the pan by pouring in the red wine and letting it simmer for 1 minute. Reduce the heat to medium-low and add the cream to the pan, stirring well. Allow the sauce to come to a simmer.
  5. Slice the steaks and return them to the pan along with the charred broccoli. Gently toss the steak and broccoli in the sauce until they are evenly coated. If you prefer your steak more well-done, you can let it simmer in the sauce for a bit longer.
  6. Once everything is heated through and well combined, transfer the pan straight to the table for an all in dining experience.
